We focus on the method of performance-based organizations. 

High-level performance training in an array of sports, music, dance, photography, circus, theater and more is a powerful and proven approach for transforming the lives of young people.  High-level performance creates a ladder of success. It enables mentorship and travel opportunities and produces increased discipline and heightened self-esteem. It can even lead to career opportunities. We invest in proven success.

All start-ups, even those in the Silicon Valley, fail at a 75-95% rate and so do international charity projects in the Global South. Even when they are good ideas started by good people, international philanthropic start-ups are high risk endeavors. Rise Up & Care only partners with organizations that have shown proven success for at least ten years and led by community leaders, and we exhaustively vet each organization and their leaders. We maximize the effectiveness of your donations.

Administrative costs for international non-profit charities often consume more than 50% of all donations.  At Rise Up & Care (a tax exempt 501c3), our board of directors pays 100% of all administrative costs, and no founder or director receives a penny of salary. 100 cents out of every dollar of tax-deductible donations goes to further the inspirational work of our partner organizations.
